Sonic Innovations wins Best in Show award at AudiologyNOW! conference

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Sonic Innovations, Inc. (Sonic) received a Best in Show award based on attendees' votes at the AudiologyNOW! conference for its tradeshow booth. The conference was held April 14 through 17 in San Diego, California and was attended by nearly 7,000 hearing care professionals.

Sonic's 30-by-30 booth had interactive holographic screens, product displays, coffee and cold drink bars, an executive conference room and an international conference room.  In addition, a four-piece Jazz band performed original song arrangements containing lyrics focused on Sonic's products and features.

"I think the striking design of the booth combined with the strong musical and interactive elements really distinguished our exhibit from the competition. Since our award was determined by attendees' votes, we obviously succeeded in providing our audience with something that was fun and memorable," says Paul Wennerholm, president and COO of Sonic Innovations.  "We were particularly pleased to use the booth and the AudiologyNOW! conference to unveil Endura, our new 12-channel super power behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid," Wennerholm noted.

The booth was designed and built by JDH Group, a Utah-based creative agency. The company specializes in producing custom exhibit and event marketing solutions. Emphasizing client collaboration, JDH group worked closely with Sonic's marketing team to bring several unique solutions to this year's tradeshow booth.

Sonic's other product lines include Touch (the smallest receiver-in-canal product available in the market), Velocity (premium to affordable hearing aids) and ion (open ear hearing aids).  The Touch microRIC was recently the winner of the Best of Innovations Design and Engineering Award at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show.
