NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, a leading national workers compensation insurance company, was recently honored at the annual ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV.  Accident Fund won a Most Compelling Case Study Award in the Property, Casualty & Surety Market category.

The ACORD Most Compelling Case Study Award recognizes a selective number of individual organizations that have implemented ACORD Standard Messaging and/or made a significant contribution to the development of ACORD Standards.  The study was a recap of Accident Fund's 2009 "Real-Time" and "Download" automation campaign with agents.  The campaign had four major components for agents:  educate, communicate, motivate and monitor.

Accident Fund's over 800 agents were personally contacted in an effort to communicate with them about the "Real-Time" and "Download" automation, educate them on how to use it and motivate them to use it as part of their everyday business activities.  Accident Fund then monitored the usage over a set period of time, revealing that the volume of agents downloading from Accident Fund increased by 77 percent.  The volume of monthly transactions on this software improved nearly 450 percent from 2008 to 2009.

Accident Fund has been recognized at this esteemed ceremony for its web development efforts for four consecutive years.  Teresa Lambie, Web Services manager, leads a skilled team of development experts who continuously strive to improve processes and find efficiencies for workers compensation insurance agent partners.

"We are honored to receive this award and recognition for our work by the industry," Lambie said.  "This project allowed us to receive direct input on our technology initiatives from our Agent Technology Council, making this award even more meaningful to Accident Fund.
