Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization, today announced Unibased Systems Architecture (Unibased) has joined the Amerinet Alliance for Financial Efficiency, a partnership of market-leading companies providing best-of-class revenue cycle and financial performance improvement solutions that support healthcare facilities of all sizes.

“Healthcare facilities face continuing pressures to improve margins and optimize operational and financial outcomes as well as meet increased demands, all while enhancing patient satisfaction and quality of care”

"The addition of Unibased Systems Architecture to the Amerinet Alliance for Financial Efficiency is a further enhancement to our objective of providing our members with the most effective approach to end-to-end revenue cycle management and financial performance improvement," said Randy Walter, Amerinet executive vice president.

Unibased leads the industry in access management and multiple-facility, inter-departmental service coordination designed to increase annual encounters while maintaining or decreasing annual infrastructure fixed costs through more effective allocation of resources. Process workflow is improved by accurate patient identification and physician order capture from all sources and distribution, linking together orders, diagnosis, procedures and encounter schedules. Unibased also provides rapid and convenient services for the consumer with the coordination of critical resources, pre-service follow-ups and automatic monitoring of relevant pre-service activities such as prepayment or complete payment arrangements prior to services, and includes the integration of disparate systems involved in the general workflow of access management throughout multi-hospital, multi-clinic environments.

"Healthcare facilities face continuing pressures to improve margins and optimize operational and financial outcomes as well as meet increased demands, all while enhancing patient satisfaction and quality of care," said Larry Covington, president and CEO of Unibased. "Our solutions address these issues and complement the resources available to Amerinet members through the Alliance."

The Alliance's best-in-class software, services and support focus on specific areas encompassing: scheduling, pre-registration, patient access and estimates, charge capture, coding, utilization, collection, accounts receivable management and remittance processing. Supply management solutions include the industry's first and only pharmacy supply application, Craneware's Pharmacy ChargeLink®, that establishes and maintains a connection between a hospital's pharmaceutical purchasing and billing information for improved charge capture, pricing and cost management.

Dell Services was an original member of the Amerinet Alliance for Financial Efficiency, providing Amerinet members with such solutions as onsite cash recovery, revenue cycle transformation and extended business office solutions.
