Massage therapy student volunteers from Cortiva Institute - Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy will lend their time and skills to the Bayada Regatta, one of the first adaptive rowing competitions for athletes with disabilities, on Saturday, August 28 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at St. Joseph's University Boathouse, 2200 Kelly Drive in Philadelphia.

During the Regatta, Cortiva student volunteers and faculty will offer rejuvenating and restorative massage therapy to all interested athletes.  In all, students volunteer over 20 hours of time at the event.

"A group of our students participated at this event last year and have found it to be a gratifying experience, not just professionally, but personally as they are enormously inspired by the athletes they meet," said Bill Ensminger, Director of Student Clinic for Cortiva Institute - Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy.
