Enventis, a subsidiary of HickoryTech (Nasdaq: HTCO), today announces it has been selected by Park Nicollet Health Services to deploy a Cisco Unified Communications and collaboration solution across their business including 19 clinics, the Methodist Hospital and the Park Nicollet Clinic campus. Enventis, a trusted partner and technology integrator for Park Nicollet since 2001, designed a solution that will allow Park Nicollet to reduce its costs and transform the way they communicate, both internally and externally, while also improving patient care. The unified communication and collaboration platform offers numerous benefits to improve customer interactions including mobility for clinicians and doctors, video systems for remote consultations and automatic calls or text messages for appointment reminders.

“They collaborated with us to develop a cost-effective solution for our growing needs and we're confident we are deploying a platform that will enhance our patient's experience and streamline communications across our organization.”

"Enventis demonstrated an outstanding level of expertise and a strong history in delivering Cisco solutions, particularly in the health care industry," said Don Tierney, director of enterprise services at Park Nicollet Health Services. "They collaborated with us to develop a cost-effective solution for our growing needs and we're confident we are deploying a platform that will enhance our patient's experience and streamline communications across our organization."

When Park Nicollet considered partners for this important technology upgrade project, they looked to a partner who is not only a collaborator, but also an innovator. The partner's financial stability, experience in the health care industry and technology expertise were equally important in ensuring the solution would meet their needs for growth and efficiency.

"We are pleased to continue to serve Park Nicollet and proud to be chosen as their technology partner for this important project," said Steve Larson, vice president of Enventis' Enterprise Integration Services. "By leveraging the powerful technology of the Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration platform, customers will receive all the benefits and productivity of a secure, end-to-end IP network and rich-media technologies."
