inVentiv acquires Star Terre Santé to provide promotional services

inVentiv Health, a leading provider of end-to-end clinical development, launch and commercialization services to the global healthcare industry, announced today that it has acquired Substrat'Homme SA, commonly known as Star Terre Santé, a leading group of healthcare marketing and communications agencies based in Paris. As part of the inVentiv Communications Global Alliance, Star Terre Santé will provide advertising and promotional services to inVentiv Communications' clients in France and Benelux.

inVentiv Communications, a division of inVentiv Health, and Star Terre Santé have partnered since 2009 to serve the marketing and advertising needs of clients in France, the third-largest pharmaceutical market in the world. Through the transaction, Star Terre Santé will become a wholly owned subsidiary of inVentiv. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Star Terre Santé is comprised of seven healthcare-focused communications disciplines, including Terre Neuve, a leading advertising agency with clients such as Guerbet, Merck Serono, Lilly and Johnson & Johnson.
