Mercy Medical Center, a health care provider in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Alegent Health, which operates hospitals in Nebraska and Iowa, have implemented PatientKeeper NoteWriter. Physicians and hospital administrators are leveraging the software solution for its ability to save physicians time with their documentation of daily patient care activities.
PatientKeeper NoteWriter enables hospitals and physician practices to replace paper with more accessible, legible and trackable electronic physician notes.

At Mercy Medical Center, physicians enter their progress notes into NoteWriter, which automatically interfaces to the hospital's back-end MEDITECH HIS system. In order to implement NoteWriter, Alegent integrated clinical data into PatientKeeper from its Soarian system so that the clinical data can be incorporated easily into physician notes.
