CareView System improves patient experience at Saline Memorial Hospital

CareView Communications, Inc. ("CareView" or the "Company") (OTC QB:CRVW), an information technology provider to the healthcare industry, recently received reports of increased customer satisfaction due to the use of its CareView System™ at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas ("Saline"). Saline's press release of October 28, 2010 indicated that as the only Arkansas hospital that has the CareView System™, it is 'at the forefront of providing quality, comprehensive care and patient services' and has 'taken the lead in implementing the multifaceted, technologically-advanced patient services program.'

"The CareView technology is very innovative, it's a patient satisfier and most importantly, it enhances safety and security for our patients," said Registered Nurse Judi Kindy. "Family members who have an elderly loved one in the hospital love this new system. It gives them comfort knowing we've added enhanced security to keep our patients safe."

In February 2010, Saline installed components of the CareView System™ Primary Package at its 167-bed facility to enhance patient safety and security including SecureView^® (used by hospital managers to ensure continued quality care), NurseView^® (used for continual patient monitoring from the nursing station), and Virtual Bed Rails™ (a fall prevention program). "As a nurse, the CareView System™ relieves certain anxieties when I know I have patients at risk for falls. With the Virtual Bed Rails, we can draw invisible motion sensitive borders on either side of the patient's bed from the nurse monitor. If a patient crosses over the border, it triggers an on-screen visual and audible alarm at the nurse's station of a potential fall. This system has already proven successful in reducing patient falls," continued Kindy.

Recently, Saline upgraded its CareView System™ to include components of the Shared Revenue Package to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction including PatientView^®, NetView^®, and MovieView^® which are primarily used for two-way communication and personal entertainment.
