NewsGuard 100/100 Score

On November 11, 2010, UAS Laboratories, Inc. acquired all outstanding shares of APN Labs, Inc. to become the sole owner.  APN Labs, Inc. of Wausau, Wisconsin, USA, has been a leading contract manufacturer of nutraceuticals for the past 10 years.  APN Labs has its own condition-specific probiotic blends as well as other ingredients.  The facility and equipment meet the strict FDA and state health department requirements as well as the current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines and kosher certification requirements.

Dr. S.K. Dash, President of UAS Laboratories, expressed his feelings about the purchase, "With the purchase of APN Labs, we are now in a position to provide a complete range of probiotics and other specialty nutritional supplements. UAS Labs has extensive experience in formulation of probiotics and other specialty nutraceuticals and we will now be able to offer many more services."

APN Labs Now GMP Certified by NSF

Earlier this month, APN Labs received GMP certification from NSF.  Consumers and health care practitioners look for ways to identify reliable, high-quality dietary supplements and NSF certification provides the reassurance that the production facility meets the highest level of GMPs for dietary supplements.

NSF International is a 65-year old organization that is a world leader in standards development, product certification, education and risk management for public health and safety.  NSF, headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI, serves manufacturers in 80 countries and has earned the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center designation.
