Intelerad® Medical Systems, a leader in medical imaging PACS and workflow solutions, today announced their new embedded Multi-Method Reporting™ module for their InteleOne™ and IntelePACS® solutions.
“In addition, the use of template-driven reporting will provide greater consistency and quality in the final reports and promises significant efficiency gains.”
Designed to accommodate the way radiologists naturally read and report studies, Intelerad's Multi-Method Reporting blends dictation, voice recognition and structured reporting together into a single, streamlined workflow. With Intelerad Multi-Method Reporting, radiologists can now switch seamlessly between the different modes of reading, taking advantage of report templates and predefined "normal" reports. When using voice recognition, they can also choose between multiple signing workflows, including self-edit, deferred self-edit, or send to the typist. Multi-Method Reporting brings unprecedented reporting freedom and flexibility to the radiologist, enabling greater productivity as well as ensuring faster turnaround times and results delivery for critical cases.
"Finally radiologists can focus on the clinical findings rather than on the underlying tools. Not only will radiology organizations be able to easily create template libraries based on their specific workflow, but the radiologists themselves will also be given the ability to pick the most appropriate reporting method for every case," says Chris Henri, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Intelerad. "In addition, the use of template-driven reporting will provide greater consistency and quality in the final reports and promises significant efficiency gains."
When used in conjunction with Intelerad's InteleOne, the productivity gains with Multi-Method Reporting are amplified. InteleOne unifies the reading and reporting workflows from disparate systems, allowing all cases to be aggregated through a single image viewer and reporting platform, bringing unprecedented workflow gains to Intelerad customers.
Intelerad will be showcasing Multi-Method Reporting and other key technology advances at the upcoming RSNA event in Chicago starting on November 28, 2010, booth 4849 Hall A.
