BCBSNC to implement Intelimedix's Tru:Insights employer group reporting tool

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Intelimedix, a business intelligence company focused on multi-relational data mining and advanced analytics for faster, more accurate decision making, is partnering with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). Representing over 3.7 million customers and handling more than $10 billion in medical claims annually, BCBSNC will initially implement Intelimedix's Tru:Insights employer group reporting tool.

"We chose Intelimedix for its data mining technology and its ability to deploy solutions quickly," said Stephen Blackwelder, Vice President, BCBSNC. "Their Business Intelligence Platform not only provides a 360-degree view of the data, it also delivers accurate, reliable data we can immediately use to make important decisions and take appropriate action."

Intelimedix has been a proven winner with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Their success is based on the company's Relational Online Analytical Processing (ROLAP) technology, the ability to aggregate data and deploy solutions quickly, the integration of interactive content in reports via its iPDF functionality, and a deep involvement with member companies. These strengths have resulted in triple-digit growth in 2010.

"Our innovative set of analytical tools, coupled with a commitment to deliver the right solutions to customers and build collaborative relationships with Blue plans has been highly successful," said Joel Portice, Intelimedix president and CEO. "We will continue to offer best-in-class solutions that improve customer efficiency and ability to respond to ongoing changes in the healthcare industry quickly."
