Central Florida Pulmonary Group to implement ChartLogic's EHR Suite

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Central Florida Pulmonary Group, a 15-physician medical group based in Orlando, has selected ChartLogic's EHR (electronic health record) Suite. The medical group serves patients through offices in Orlando, East Orlando and Altamonte Springs and includes a pulmonary function laboratory, an imaging center and sleep medicine department.

The ChartLogic EHR Suite includes the ChartLogic EMR (electronic medical record), ChartLogic Document Management, ChartLogic ePrescribe, ChartLogic Patient Portal and ChartLogic Mobile Doc. With these tools, physicians in the medical group will be able to prescribe medications electronically, view X-rays and other images remotely with a PACS interface, improve coding accuracy with special pulmonary medicine templates and communicate with patients through a patient portal.

According to R. Milton Harris, administrator for Central Florida Pulmonary Group, "We looked at a number of EHR systems and the ChartLogic system had many advantages. The system's customized templates for pulmonary medicine will enable our physicians to quickly document patient visits. The remote access capability is important, since our physicians see patients at three separate clinics and admit patients to several local hospitals. ChartLogic also has an excellent record for reliability and service support."
