Cosmetic Bootcamp LLC is pleased to announce the launch of its comprehensive esthetic textbook, The Cosmetic Bootcamp Primer (Informa). This book contains chapters written by a variety of different specialties and in addition to the outstanding medical information also contains chapters on practice management as well as an instructional DVD.

The Cosmetic Bootcamp Summer meeting, which features live demonstrations and lectures, will be in Aspen from July 14-17th. This year the program will expand slightly to accommodate the increased demand for training but, according to Dr. Kenneth Beer, will not become a "factory meeting."  "The goal of The Cosmetic Bootcamp is to maintain the highest degree of educational standards while maintaining the collegial environment that has become our trademark," according to Dr. Mary Lupo.

The Cosmetic Bootcamp University, which focuses on training residents and fellows, also plans to increase the number of programs to eight in 2011. According to Dr. Vic Narurkar, "because the University program was so well received and it sold out the past two years, we are planning to increase the number of meetings that we provide to residents and fellows and also expand to additional cities so that the physicians in training don't have to travel as far." Last year's program trained about 250 residents and fellows. The program is provided free and supported by the leading esthetic companies committed to improving patient outcomes by advancing educational training.
