Healthline Networks, the leading provider of intelligent health information services, and MedHelp, the world's largest health social network and the leading provider of online and mobile health applications, today announced an expansion of their strategic partnership, naming Healthline as the exclusive third-party representative for custom content programs for selected pharmaceutical advertisers on MedHelp. The agreement builds on the long-standing sales and technology relationship between the two category leaders.

“This expanded partnership is a win for everybody”

"Healthline and MedHelp have built a very powerful partnership over the past two years," said West Shell III, Chairman and CEO of Healthline Networks. "By expanding the partnership to include custom content solutions, pharmaceutical advertisers and brand marketers can now have an even more powerful vehicle for getting their message in front of qualified health seekers."

"This expanded partnership is a win for everybody," said Richy Glassberg, Chief Operating Officer of MedHelp. "By bringing together the best of both properties, we will create a compelling offering to pharmaceutical brands that delivers a highly-engaged, targeted audience and best-in-class tools to drive even deeper consumer interaction."

More and more pharmaceutical marketers are recognizing that consumers prefer to interact with health information on trusted web properties.
