Universal Medicalcare, Viking sign distribution agreement to sell new 3DHD Vision system

Viking Systems, Inc., a leading worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of 3D and 2D visualization solutions for complex minimally invasive surgery, has signed a distribution agreement with Universal Medicalcare to sell its new 3DHD Vision System in Mexico.

Jed Kennedy, President and CEO of Viking Systems, said, "This agreement increases our footprint in the Latin American market, and is another example of the worldwide interest in our new 3DHD Vision System.  With its potential to improve the quality of patient care while reducing procedure time and costs, we look forward to introducing our 3DHD system for minimally invasive procedures into the Mexican market, and to partnering with Universal Medicalcare."

Universal Medicalcare is a medical products distribution company whose parent company, Universal Cargo, is one of the leading logistics companies in Mexico.
