Physicians, care provider organizations near deadline for processing submittals to CMS for 2010 PQRI

Covisint, a Compuware (Nasdaq:CPWR) company, today announced that physicians and care provider organizations are nearing the absolute deadline for processing submittals to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the 2010 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). Leveraging Covisint DocSite™ PQRI, physicians and practice managers can now submit 2010 PQRI data through March 15, 2011.

Covisint is one of a few remaining services still available for submittals, and Covisint DocSite PQRI continues to make reporting on PQRI and receiving incentives from CMS easy for doctors and hospitals. CMS offers revenue incentives for delivering excellent care through participation in this voluntary quality reporting program. Healthcare organizations choose Covisint because of its proven, cost-effective way to manage and execute on payment reporting for physicians regarding data on quality measures.

Covisint outpaced all competitors by completing more than 4,500 submissions for 2010 incentives, a 300 percent year-over-year increase in the submission rate. Because of this, providers have obtained anywhere from hundreds of dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
