TrustHCS(SM), an HIM, compliance and revenue cycle consultancy firm for healthcare providers, announces its partnership with RemitDATA™ to utilize TITAN in their physician services practice. Practices and clinics nationwide use TrustHCS's consultants to help reduce denials, hasten reimbursement and improve staff productivity. The company provides comprehensive billing, coding, compliance and reimbursement services ranging from simple process assessments, coding services and physician education to complex workflow re-engineering. The announcement was made by Torrey Barnhouse, CEO for TrustHCS.
"Our partnership with RemitDATA brings a set of critical business analytics tools and transparency to physician clinics and groups; most importantly the ability to break down adjudicated claims data and compare performance at local, regional and national levels in real-time," states Barnhouse. "Equipped with this type of business intelligence, groups can identify specific billing issues from the daily remittance advice, maximize profitability and better compete for accountable care organization (ACO) contracts," mentions Deborah Robb, BSHA, CPC, Director of Physician Services at TrustHCS.
Through the partnership, TrustHCS clients gain access to the most statistically valid sampling available with data accumulated from RemitDATA customers and partners over the course of a decade. The information is derived from approximately 25 percent of the electronic remittances processed in the United States, encompassing 300-350 million notices per year. In addition to business analytics, RemitDATA's application simplifies the denial management and reconciliation process, and will be offered as an integral part of TrustHCS's consulting service engagements.
"We are pleased to include TrustHCS among our growing list of business partners, particularly in the acute care sector," said Michael Sanderson, president of RemitDATA. "The combination of TrustHCS' expert billing knowledge with our innovative technology will bring unprecedented transparency to billing, revenue cycle and practice performance issues for Health Systems.
