Cogent Healthcare, a leader in hospital and critical care medicine, is pleased to recognize Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder Ron Greeno, MD, FCCP, MHM, and Chief Clinical Officer Rusty Holman, MD, MHM, for being awarded the distinction of Masters in Hospital Medicine (MHM) by the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). They join an elite group of only seven individuals who have been honored with this prestigious recognition.

The Masters in Hospital Medicine represents the highest honor in hospital medicine. Selected based on personal character and contributions towards furthering the goals of SHM, those awarded with the MHM designation are distinguished by the excellence and significance of their contributions to the field of hospital medicine and the healthcare industry on the whole.

"Drs. Greeno and Holman have been invaluable contributors to the field of hospital medicine," said Larry Wellikson, MD, SFHM, Chief Executive Officer, Society of Hospital Medicine. "It is an honor to recognize their achievements with the Masters in Hospital Medicine designation, which we liken to a 'Hall of Fame' for our fast-growing field."
