Ennova Direct, Inc. (DBA ION Technologies) announced today that they're offering a patent portfolio for sale that is focused on Retractable USB Flash Drive Devices, Retractable Biometric USB Flash Drive Devices, MP3 Players (wired and Wireless Bluetooth™) and Wireless Bluetooth Earbud Headsets. In total the intellectual property includes 6 issued US patents (US 6,979,210, US 7,040,425, US 7,090,515, US 7,462,044, US 7,566,231 and US 7,747,003 plus two published applications (US 2006/240,692 & US 2008/050,952).

"Our revised business model is devoted to inventing and patenting new technology which we sell to Operating Companies looking for new technology to build to or to Non Practicing Entities (NPE) looking for valuable intellectual property to add to their portfolios. There are patents within this portfolio that have been heavily adopted across multiple industries and the buyer of the portfolio will be able to protect and enforce in multiple areas. This presents a great opportunity for a large return on investment," said Peter Garrett, President of Ennova Direct, Inc.

Patents within the portfolio are proven intellectual property. They have already been licensed to A-DATA Technology, Philips Electronics, PNY Technologies, Sony Corporation of America, Transcend Information, Verbatim Americas and more.

In addition to any existing market adoption, there is other intellectual property within the portfolio that is poised for heavy market growth: Patent No.: US, 7462, 044, the world's first retractable USB flash drive with a biometric fingerprint scanner embedded into an OLED touchscreen, or US 7,747,003, the world's first wireless Bluetooth stereo earbud headset, the first stereo Bluetooth invention to completely cut the cord (both shown on right).

"Along with selling the entire patent portfolio as intellectual property, we're still entertaining the licensing of individual patents to interested parties. Our primary goal is to see our patented technology in the hands of the public, where it can best be appreciated. It is the driving force behind why we invent," according to Paul Regen, CEO of Ennova Direct, Inc.
