The Southern Atlantic Hospital Alliance ("SAHA") announced the selection of the Language Access Network ("LAN") as its exclusive partner to provide video language interpretation services. Serving over 15 member hospitals, SAHA covers the greater portion of North Carolina. The advanced metrics and leadership of LAN were a natural fit to SAHA's mission to add value while controlling cost. The services will be delivered via LAN'S dedicated HIPAA compliant high-speed broadband network and through its proprietary remote video interpretation equipment, the Martti™ Express. Martti (My Accessible Real Time Trusted Interpreter) offers immediate access with one button simplicity and full mobility throughout the hospital.

"SAHA is a partner to hospitals, dedicated to patient safety, clinical quality and regulatory compliance," stated Cindy Worthy, Director Care Management/Utilization Review. "Members come to us with clear objectives and LAN's product offering was most attuned to their desires. As a physician owned company, LAN is truly partnering with us to provide each hospital, not just a solution, but the right solution."

"Being selected by SAHA is an honor and a privilege," said Andrew Panos, COO of Language Access Network. "We have worked closely with them to drive an ROI for their members through language interpretation services. We have invested a significant amount of time and resources in developing our service and its delivery platform and look forward to deploying it to all SAHA members."
