Anomatic to open new production facility in New Albany, Ohio

Anomatic Corporation, known for their unique, high volume metal packaging and custom anodizing process for the medical, pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic packaging industries, is expanding operations with a brand new facility in New Albany, Ohio. Anomatic will join others at The Personal Care and Beauty Campus in the New Albany Business Park. Anomatic will open a 65,000 square-foot anodizing production facility with an investment of 8.7 million dollars for new facilities and equipment. The company will create approximately 185 new positions in the first three years of operation.

"Each company at this campus is playing a role in creating a vertical supply chain to quickly and cost effectively turn concepts into actual products on shelves. Businesses worldwide are taking note, and this campus has brought more than 1,000 new jobs to our region and our state in the last year alone."

Columbia Gas has identified Anomatic's sustainability efforts and in support has granted $100,000 to the New Albany Expansion. "Growing Ohio's economy through the creation of good-paying jobs is what our Jobs Growth Fund is all about," said Columbia Gas of Ohio President Jack Partridge. "We're proud of the partnership we've forged with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the other groups who help administer the fund. This exciting announcement demonstrates how the partnership is helping to deliver measurable, sustainable economic benefit to the region and ultimately the entire state."

In 2010 Anomatic supplied over 1.2 billion anodized components to global customers servicing the packaging industry. The Ohio-based company continues to invest in high-speed stamping and assembly machines, lean manufacturing and innovative decorating technologies to service their customers' needs.
