Express Scripts and Medco Health Solutions disclosed in federal filings that the Federal Trade Commission has requested additional information about the proposed deal between the two pharmacy benefits management companies. St. Louis-based Express Scripts had announced in July its intention to acquire Medco, based in Franklin Lakes, N.J., for $29.1 billion (Lee, 9/6).
