Veterans can only hope this is a good thing. One of the previous Secretary of the VA was president of QTC! Of course no conflict of interest! And QTC was sued by Veteran
organizations in 2003? for biased medical exams. Of course in favor of the VA, denying the Veteran's medical conditions were a result of or exasperated by military service. I was given a hearing test by a QTC clinic in the Seattle area for tinnitis. During the test the "doctor" jerked open the door of the "sound booth". And yelled in my face, "Didn't you hear that"!! Do you think the results are non-biased, I don't!!! Plus the fact I have PTSD, could have resulted in a verbal assault, less a physical one, for that incident. Another disturbing issue with them, was being scheduled for a depression and anxiety exam in 2009? It caused me an anxiety attack, I cancelled three business days in advance. Called back, said I was OK now, ready to be re-scheduled. No need, and the legitimate basis was!? No Answer!
