Premier will begin offering Horizon's solutions to its K-12 members beginning January 1, 2012. These comprehensive technology solutions include POS, Free & Reduced Meal Price Application Processing, Online Meal Account & School Fee Payment, Inventory Management, Procurement, Menu Planning, Nutrition Analysis, Reimbursable Vending, and more.

"We are excited to have been chosen as a Premier Business Partner," said Randy Eckels, President of Horizon. "We look forward to the opportunity to provide its member districts with tools to increase participation and reduce cost in their programs, as well as providing parents in those districts the online convenience they demand."

Under the agreement, Premier members and affiliates receive special pricing on Horizon's solutions, and can take advantage of a streamlined procurement process that reduces the time and expense typically associated with technology solution investments. The Premier alliance performs the extensive research and evaluation of suppliers' products prior to offering them to its members, so members can immediately leverage these solutions to improve their business operations and results.
