UICOMP to join provider network of Coventry Health Care

Effective April 1, 2012, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria ("UICOMP") will join the provider network of Coventry Health Care of Illinois, Inc. ("Coventry Health Care") to serve area members.    

Eighty-five physicians and six nurse practitioners in a variety of specialties will serve Coventry members across its HMO, POS, PPO and Medicare Advantage plans. Additionally, State of Illinois employees enrolled in Coventry's HMO or Open Access Plan (OAP) will gain access to UICOMP for their medical needs. UICOMP is also under contract to participate in the Coventry Workers Compensation network and Coventry's rental network through April 2015.
