ChemDAQ launches new sensor module for peracetic acid detection

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

ChemDAQ, Inc announced today that it has released a new sensor module for peracetic acid (PAA) to add to ChemDAQ's Steri-Trac® gas monitoring system. This new sensor module is the first vapor monitor specifically for occupational safety monitoring of PAA used in Healthcare and the Food and Beverage industry.

With a range of 0 to 3 ppm and a digital resolution of 0.01 ppm, it has sensitivity to detect the EPA's Acute Exposure Guideline 1 (0.17 ppm 8 Hr TWA) and the proposed ACGIH 15 minute STEL (0.2 ppm). As with the other Steri-Trac gas monitors, the PAA sensor module can be used with a stand-alone monitor or as part of a comprehensive gas monitoring system.
