Intamac Systems Limited, the B2B Connected Home service provider announces the release of a new and improved ‘Senior Care’ service.

Intamac announces the launch of a new product and service which will provide peace of mind and security for senior citizens and their loved ones. The new service known as ‘Senior Care’ comprises an IP and DECT enabled control gateway which connects to the Intamac Connect cloud platform to provide alerts and control of multiple types of event to carers and loved ones.

The Senior Care gateway supports several accessories including a fall detector, a panic pendant with inbuilt two-way voice capability, smoke detector and movement sensors which provide alerts in the event of inactivity, a fall or other events of concern.

The service provides two-way voice communication with user defined emergency contacts in the event of an alert. Emergency contacts can be friends/relatives or care service providers/ support centres.

If the user has a fall or presses the panic button, the system will automatically call nominated contacts securely so that they can talk directly to the user who may be in need of help.

This new feature along with enhanced service capabilities that include; movement monitoring and tracking, conditional alerts and notifications, panic & medical emergency alerts, activity charts and logs aims to extend the time ageing and vulnerable people can safely remain living in their own homes.

Integration with Intamac’s Home View IP camera service is also possible to provide further alert verification and peace of mind.

Other aspects of the service have also been subject to improvements.  New, more intuitive set up guides mean that conditional alert messages can be set up and edited quickly and easily. This allows every user to personalise the service to meet their specific preferences and requirements.

Intamac’s ‘Senior Care’ package and service will be offered through existing and new Intamac channel partners who include telecomms operators, utilities and insurance providers across Europe.
