Ziehm Imaging offers OR tables from Stille for vascular surgery

NewsGuard 100/100 Score
Effective immediately, Ziehm Imaging, the market and innovation leader for mobile C-arms, is offering OR tables from the Swedish manufacturer Stille to complement its Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition. With this global distribution agreement, the Nuremberg-based manufacturer is presenting a package solution for hybrid ORs for the first time.

The Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition offers a cost-effective alternative to fixed installed systems in hybrid operating rooms: Excellent image resolution, a powerful 20 kW generator and an active liquid cooling system provide reliable intraoperative imaging even for complex procedures. The mobile C-arm and the Stille imagiQ2 OR table for vascular surgery, presented in April 2012, form a powerful duo for interventional surgery. The new OR table delivers maximum precision, reduces radiation exposure and, with its high level of flexibility, is ideal for use in hybrid operating rooms.

"The global distribution agreement allows us to fully utilize the synergies between both companies. The Stille imagiQ2 OR table is the ideal addition for our imaging solutions and will support the expansion of our activities in the field of hybrid OR solutions," explains Martin Törnvik, VP Global Sales & Marketing at Ziehm Imaging. "Through the joint distribution, Stille can benefit from our constantly growing global distribution network."

The partnership opens up distribution channels in over 75 countries for the Swedish manufacturer. "With this important agreement we are laying the foundation for the global distribution of our new imaging OR tables for vascular surgery," says a delighted Philip Siberg, CEO at Stille.
