Prime Healthcare Services purchases Dallas Medical Center

Prime Healthcare Services announced today that it has purchased Dallas Medical Center, located in Dallas, Texas.

Dallas Medical Center is a 155-bed full service acute care hospital, located in the North Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch. Services offered include medical/surgical, outpatient surgery, 24 hour emergency care, and cardiology services including interventional cardiac catherization facilities.

"Keeping with our motto of saving hospitals, saving jobs and saving lives, Dallas Medical Center is the third hospital Prime Healthcare has acquired in Texas," said Prem Reddy, MD, FACC, FCCP, chairman, president and CEO of Prime Healthcare Services. "As one of the top health systems in the nation, Prime Healthcare looks forward to improving the already excellent care at the Center, ensuring its financial future, and continuing the strong relationships with the local physicians and community."

With more than 200 physicians and 250 fulltime employees, the hospital is known for its outstanding medical staff, skilled and compassionate nurses and a state-of-the-art technology.
