Qosina now stocks SMC series polycarbonate non-luer connectors from Colder Products CompanyÒ. The SMC is a twist-to-connect coupling that provides a reliable and more secure alternative to traditional luer-type connections and will not mate to a standard luer.
The sophisticated design allows for tubing to rotate freely when connected to the in-line hose barb. This helps to prevent both accidental disconnections and kinked tubing. Available to fit tubing ranging from 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch (1.6 mm to 3.2 mm) ID. When connected, the coupling body and coupling insert measure 1.5 inch in total length. Qosina offers the coupling body and coupling insert separately, or together as a set.
