Doximity kicks off new phase of expansion at Silicon Valley

Doximity, the professional network for physicians, kicked off a new phase of expansion last week with a ribbon cutting event at its Silicon Valley headquarters. The company is doubling its office space in San Mateo to continue innovating new services for over 250,000 physician members. With over 1 in 3 U.S. physicians on the network, Doximity surpassed the American Medical Association in January to become the nation's largest physician group.

Doximity increased its headcount by over 30% in the past year in order to keep up with its rapidly growing user base. In a changing healthcare environment that places pressure on providers to offer better and more cost-effective healthcare, Doximity eases the burden on physicians with its suite of HIPAA-secure communications tools and personalized medical news service.

San Mateo Mayor Robert Ross expressed his appreciation for Doximity's contributions to the tech community in San Mateo at the celebration: "San Mateo and the Bay Area tech community are lucky that Jeff's brought not only Doximity here, but also his entrepreneurial knowledge and leadership.
