Doximity kicks off new phase of expansion at Silicon Valley

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Doximity, the professional network for physicians, kicked off a new phase of expansion last week with a ribbon cutting event at its Silicon Valley headquarters. The company is doubling its office space in San Mateo to continue innovating new services for over 250,000 physician members. With over 1 in 3 U.S. physicians on the network, Doximity surpassed the American Medical Association in January to become the nation's largest physician group.

Doximity increased its headcount by over 30% in the past year in order to keep up with its rapidly growing user base. In a changing healthcare environment that places pressure on providers to offer better and more cost-effective healthcare, Doximity eases the burden on physicians with its suite of HIPAA-secure communications tools and personalized medical news service.

San Mateo Mayor Robert Ross expressed his appreciation for Doximity's contributions to the tech community in San Mateo at the celebration: "San Mateo and the Bay Area tech community are lucky that Jeff's brought not only Doximity here, but also his entrepreneurial knowledge and leadership. Physicians all over the country are benefitting from Doximity's services."
