Supermint fluoride toothpaste receives American Dental Association Seal of Acceptance

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Hello is thrilled to announce that its supermint fluoride toothpaste has officially been awarded the American Dental Association (ADA) Seal of Acceptance. Recognized by dentists and consumers alike as the gold standard for U.S. oral care, the seal acknowledges that the product has met ADA guidelines for fluoride-containing toothpaste used for the control of tooth decay.

A series of extensive safety and efficacy tests were conducted at the Indiana University School of Dentistry to ensure hello met the criteria to earn the prestigious Seal. Results demonstrated the active ingredient, fluoride, was effectively absorbed into the enamel without harm during the brushing process. Data also revealed that fluoride remained stable over the proposed shelf-life of the supermint fluoride toothpaste.

"We are so flattered when people tell us how much they love our products — the delicious flavors, the gorgeous, innovative packaging, the friendliness of the brand — but they also want to know that it works," said Craig Dubitsky, CEO of hello. "Now we have the official Seal of Acceptance from the ADA stating that hello's supermint toothpaste offers clinically proven cavity and enamel protection. With toothpaste this friendly, delicious, safe and effective — what's not to love?"

The comprehensive hello family of products boasts an impressive line-up of credentials that nicely complement the latest recognition from the ADA. The breathspray, toothpaste and mouthwash are all free from triclosan, alcohol, artificial sweeteners and dyes, and are vegan and Leaping Bunny Certified (never tested on animals).
