SST Group, Inc., a leading provider of DICOM distribution solutions in the United States, is excited to announce its partnership with MPTronic, a leading developer of Radiation Dose Monitoring systems in Europe, Middle East and Africa. SST Group will become the exclusive distributor in the United States and Canada for MPTronic's market-leading product, RDM™ (Radiation Dosage Monitor). The RDM solution is designed to Collect, Control, Analyze and Optimize radiation doses delivered to patients during medical imaging examinations. RDM is compatible with various types of imaging modalities from all manufacturers. The RDM utilizes DACS (Dose Archive and Communication System) to store and manage radiation dose data for patient's current and historical procedures and provides medical professionals complete control of the dose.

Thanks to its intuitive browser-based user interface, multiple control screens can be deployed without additional cost. The RDM allows the medical professional to stay in control at all times, providing instant access to a patient's dose history and real-time monitoring and alerts.

"MPTronic, with its EU partner Medsquare, has quickly become the leading provider of Dose Management Systems in Central Europe. The concept of DACS (Dose Archive and Communication) for radiation dose management will evolve and be similar to PACS for DICOM images. Our partnership with MPTronic allows SST Group to be at the forefront of this market as it matures. The RDM solution also allows SST to continue to provide cutting-edge products to our customer base," explained Richard Murphy, President, SST Group, Inc.
