As Director of the BSN-MSN program, Dr. McLeod areas of concentration lie in healthcare, nursing instruction, curriculum development, and mentoring. She oversees the daily operations of the program, counsels and advises students, and is responsible for hiring new faculty, syllabi approval, budget management, forecasting and more.

To keep up with the latest trends in nursing, Dr. McLeod maintains affiliation with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, International Lactation Consultants Association, Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association, and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of The Year. Outside of work, Dr. McLeod enjoys reading, needlework and walking her dogs.

Throughout the course of her educational career, Dr. McLeod earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. In addition, she holds a MSN in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, from California State University at Long Beach, and a BSN from California State University at Fullerton.
