Health care providers from University Hospital's Frank L. Mitchell Jr., MD, Trauma Center will attend this year's Missouri State Fair to raise awareness of traumatic injury prevention.
Beginning Thursday, Aug. 13, through Sunday, Aug. 23, staff from University Hospital will provide fairgoers educational information and tips concerning injury prevention. University Hospital's booth is located in the MizzouCentral area of the MO-Ag Theatre, near the fair's Centennial Entrance.
"Traumatic injuries can occur anytime throughout the year," said Kassie Campbell, RN, injury prevention and trauma outreach coordinator for University Hospital's trauma center.
