CEO of Prime Healthcare named to Modern Healthcare's 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare list

Prem Reddy, M.D., FACC, FCCP, Chairman, President and CEO of Prime Healthcare Services, has been named to Modern Healthcare's prestigious list of the "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" for 2015.

This is the second time that Dr. Reddy has been featured on the list, which is considered among the most important rankings of healthcare luminaries in the nation and includes the likes of President Barack Obama, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, HHS Secretary Sylvia Matthews Burwell, House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Thomas Frieden, among others. Dr. Reddy moved a significant 31 spots up the list since the last time he was selected.

"I am honored to be mentioned among so many other outstanding individuals who work hard, day in and day out, to improve the health and quality of life of all Americans," said Dr. Reddy. "I look forward to working with all of my fellow healthcare professionals to continue our mission to promote health and wellness and to improve access to quality, affordable healthcare to all."

Modern Healthcare sponsors this annual recognition program, which honors individuals in healthcare who are "deemed by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be the most influential individuals in the industry in terms of leadership and impact."

Modern Healthcare senior editors make a final determination based on a ballot comprising of 300 names, based on nominations received. Judging for the final ranking of the 100 Most Influential is based on readers' votes (50%) as well as input from the senior editors of Modern Healthcare (50%).
