Today, American Trucking Associations announces HireRight as the first ATA Corporate Partner, in recognition of its long-term commitment to ATA and the trucking industry.

"Having good quality, safety-conscious drivers is essential to the success of our motor carriers," said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. "For 30 years, HireRight has been helping this industry find the right drivers for moving America's freight and we're pleased that HireRight is continuing as an Endorsed ATA Featured Product provider and now has been named as our first Corporate Partner."

HireRight has a long-standing relationship with ATA, continually working to improve data sources and the background screening process. Recently, HireRight and ATA have collaborated on electronic custody and control forms, carrier access to FMCSA's drug and alcohol clearinghouse, and electronic signatures on FMCSA and DOT required documentation – all of which help motor carriers effectively hire drivers quickly.

"We're pleased to have been able to partner with ATA on so many initiatives over the years, through both industry and public policy, that have served to make the road a safer place for everyone, help motor carriers ensure they hire the highest quality drivers, and help qualified drivers get hired quickly," said Steven Spencer, managing director, transportation and health care, HireRight. "HireRight is honored to receive recognition from the ATA and is extremely proud of its 30-year partnership with this organization that has done so much for trucking, for motor carriers, for drivers and for public safety."
