Californian Chinese community health summit

NICOS Chinese Health Coalition, a public-private-community partnership of more than 30 health and human service organizations and concerned individuals, invites you and your colleagues to participate in the Chinese Community Health Summit on Wednesday, May 26, 2004.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway (1500 Van Ness Ave.) in San Francisco. Over 200 health and human service providers, organizational administrators, funders, policymakers, and business representatives will gather to strategize around effectively addressing key health needs faced by San Francisco’s underserved Chinese adults.

Summit topics include:

• Improving access to bilingual/bicultural health services in San Francisco

• Eliminating health disparities facing Chinese Americans

• Developing culturally appropriate mental health services

• Enhancing outreach and prevention efforts to promote community wellness

Participant continuing education fees are included in summit registration fees, groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount, etc…
