British doctors will deliver a powerful message to Blair

On Monday 5th, July at 9am the BMA will deliver 4,500 doctors' letters to the Prime Minister in Downing Street, London. The letters call for the Government to ban smoking in all workplaces in the UK.

The letters will be delivered in a giant cigarette packet by Deputy Chairman of the BMA, Dr Sam Everington and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Science, Dr Peter Maguire.

The cigarette packet will be labelled as follows:

"Passive Smoking Kills"

"Smokefree workplaces save lives"
