Jonathan Teich, M.D., is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) at Elsevier, the world's largest publisher of scientific, technical and medical information. He is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and a board-certified attending physician in emergency medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston.

Dr. Teich has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed papers, books, and articles on health information technology (HIT) including Improving Outcomes with Clinical Decision Support (CDS): An Implementer's Guide, published by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in 2005. He currently co-chairs the panel behind the Roadmap for National Action on Clinical Decision Support, while also serving on the HIMSS board. He is an active participant in the quality and CDS workgroups of the American Health Information Community (AHIC).
