10th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair to focus on healthy cooking demonstrations

At the largest green gathering in the South, chefs, foodies and restaurants have the opportunity to show off their organic food products to an audience deeply interested in green lifestyles and healthy, organic eating. At the 10th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair over 7500 people gather annually to explore products, organic food and technology that is sustainable, renewable, recyclable and geared to offering healthy, green-living choices. Sharing your expertise promotes your business while educating the public through demonstration or sharing samples, recipe ideas or coupons. There is no cost to “Foodies” but it is necessary to send an email to [email protected] by Monday, August 24th to be included.

Healthy Eating at the Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair focuses on:

  • Healthy cooking demonstrations, product awareness and sampling
  • Natural, organic food café with veggie options
  • Live music, New Belgium beer & ales for sale

Put this green lifestyle activity on your calendar for Friday, September 25th, Noon – 6 p.m. Saturday, the 26th, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, the 27th 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Roundup is located at Market Square in downtown Fredericksburg, Texas. Tickets are $10 on Friday or Sunday and $12 on Saturday while children under 12 years old are free. There is also a 3-day pass available for $20.

Texas Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair is co-organized by:

  • Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association
  • Texas Solar Energy Society
  • Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association as a cooperating participant

Proceeds will benefit TREIA and TXSES, two non-profits that strive to increase the understanding and awareness of renewable energy applications and promote their wide use.
