NewsGuard 100/100 Score

The Family and friends of David Gimelfarb have established the Rescue Resource Fund in support of agencies involved in a search and rescue operation currently underway in Costa Rica. David, a doctoral student at the Adler School of Professional Psychology, went missing last week while vacationing in the northern part of Costa Rica. David was traveling independently while on vacation. He was last seen entering the Rincon de Veija National Park in Guanecaste at around 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11th.

The Gimelfarb Family expresses its gratitude for the outpouring of support and messages they have received from so many. The creation of the Rescue Resource Fund is a testament to that support, and its creation was prompted by numerous inquiries received by David’s family asking how best to contribute to his safe return.

For up to date information the family has established a Facebook page, “help find David Gimelfarb.”

One hundred percent of gift contributions will benefit the rescue agencies in Coast Rica. Due to IRS regulations, gifts are not tax deductible. Checks payable to the Adler School Rescue Research Fund may be mailed to:
