Spectrum Healthcare Resources receives The Joint Commission's intra-cycle certification

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Spectrum Healthcare Resources (Spectrum) recently passed The Joint Commission's intra-cycle certification, a program that offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm's ability to provide competent staffing services. This certification follows Spectrum's third consecutive Gold Seal of Approval, which the organization received in 2008.

"Healthcare organizations that contract with Spectrum can look to the intra-cycle certification as an assurance that Spectrum demonstrates a commitment to providing and continuously improving quality services," says Michele Sacco, M.S., executive director, Health Care Staffing Services Certification, Joint Commission.

As part of Spectrum's third Gold Seal of Approval, the organization underwent an unannounced, on-site review of its compliance with national standards addressing how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff's performance.

"These awards recognize Spectrum's dedication to providing qualified healthcare professionals who provide safe, high-quality care to patients," says George Tracy, President, Spectrum. "We're proud to receive the Joint Commission's certification and Gold Seal of Approval."
