HCD Research to conduct a national study during President Barack Obama's speech on health care reform

HCD Research announced today that it will conduct a national study during President Barack Obama's speech on health care reform tonight to obtain Americans' perceptions of the president and his plan for health care reform.

HCD Research will conduct the study using its MediaCurves.com(R) website among a nationally representative sample of self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents.

The study is being conducted to measure Americans' perceptions of:

President Barack Obama

President Obama's health care plan and

Level of optimism regarding U.S. health care

Respondents will also be asked to rate the president on a scale from 1-7 regarding likeability, believability and sincerity. The results will be available on www.mediacurves.com within one hour of the president's speech.
