Schuylkill County’s The Seltzer Group, a member of Keystone Insurers Group, announces it has formed an alliance with St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital to provide medical insurance solutions and occupational health services to businesses in Luzerne, Carbon and Schuylkill Counties.

St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital and The Seltzer Group will present a free seminar, “Taking Control of Your Workers’ Compensation Costs.” The session will teach business owners how they and their employees may be affected by occupational health and medical insurance issues such as workers’ compensation. It will also offer solutions and cost reduction strategies. The seminar will take place Friday, October 30, 7:45 a.m., Lehigh Carbon Community College, Scheller Student Center, High Street, Tamaqua, PA. Call 1-888-366-1000 x126 for information.

As one of the area’s most well-respected providers of health-related workplace insurance solutions, The Seltzer Group was looking for a partner that could fulfill those occupational medical offerings. Since both The Seltzer Group and St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital serves many of the same communities, there was a commonality among their goals and services. St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital will now deliver occupational health and wellness services to the Seltzer Group’s client base through a comprehensive approach for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to employees of area businesses.
