Update from BioCryst Pharmaceuticals regarding antiviral peramivir

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCRX) today announced that the Office of the Secretary, Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) has issued "HHS Secretary's Declaration for the Use of the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act for the Influenza Antiviral Peramivir." Notice of this Declaration was posted today in the Federal Register and can be found on the Web at:

This Declaration represents a required step before an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) may be issued. Further information regarding the EUA process may be found in a policy review available from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and can be found on the Web at:
