Mutual of Omaha, a leading provider of group benefits, has announced a new group dental product designed to meet the evolving needs of the workplace.

Underwritten by United of Omaha Life Insurance Company, a Mutual of Omaha company, this new dental product includes several differentiators that make it unique in the market. These include:

  • PreventiveEdgeSM, a benefit that excludes preventive services from the annual maximum, allowing individuals to conserve dollars for costlier procedures; or
  • Annual maximum rollover, an option that allows unused maximum dollars to roll over to the next year, up to two times the annual maximum; and;
  • Flexibility to move select benefits between covered classes/types

Plan options of the group dental product include: PPO or indemnity, and employer-paid or voluntary.

“Dental insurance is at the forefront of an attractive ancillary benefits package and one of the top four benefits requested by today’s employers,” said Marty Traynor, Mutual of Omaha vice president of Voluntary Benefits and Products. “We’re excited to offer a dental product that will provide employers and their employees access to popular new features, convenient plan flexibility and bundled billing on a single platform. We think they’ll find that Mutual of Omaha is the convenient choice for the package of ancillary benefits an employer needs to stay competitive.”
