Team PHLY to play against 'Big 5' to raise money for American Cancer Society

Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) will kick-off basketball season by facing the city of Philadelphia's "Big 5" college basketball coaches on the court at the University of Pennsylvania's Palestra Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. Team PHLY will tip-off against Coaches Fran Dunphy (Temple), Phil Martelli (Saint Joseph's), Bruiser Flint (Drexel), John Giannini (La Salle), Glen Miller (University of Pennsylvania) and Jay Wright (Villanova) to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event will provide attendees with the opportunity for autographs and photos with the coaches following the game, as well as giveaways, food and beverages.

PHLY supports the "Big 5" Coaches vs. Cancer initiative and the American Cancer Society in their mission to prevent cancer, save the lives of those affected by the disease and reduce suffering through research, education, advocacy and service.
