The Quebec Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is delighted to be able to count on the Fondation Jacques-F. Gougoux in improving the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis and their families. A donation of $57,386, spread over 15 years, will enable the MS Society to make some of its services more accessible.

In its funding arrangement, the Fondation Jacques-F. Gougoux undertakes to distribute two $2,000 grants to two local chapters of the Quebec Division of the MS Society, to enable them to offer the Hope and Cope program to people who have just been diagnosed with MS and their families. A third grant, in the amount of $1,000, will be allocated to a family that will be invited to take part in the Quebec Division's Espoir Famille conference free of charge. "By granting this financial assistance, the foundation is achieving its mandate of making a difference in the lives of people with multiple sclerosis and their families, by offering them direct assistance," stated Annie Boisclair, Senior Director of Development at the Quebec Division of the MS Society.
