MobileHelp allows protected individuals to summon help from anywhere

MobileHelp (http://www.mobilehelpsys.com), America’s premier medical alert system that integrates cellular and GPS technology, allows protected individuals anywhere in the nation to summon help while inside and beyond the home. MobileHelp provides a technology platform that allows families and caregivers to always be in the loop, enabling them to locate loved ones real-time via the Web.

The MobileHelp personal emergency alert system, launched in November by Medical Mobile Monitoring of Boca Raton, protects users whether they’re in their living room, garden or out to dinner, guarding their independence and relieving caregivers’ apprehension. Monitoring service staff is just a push of the button away from talking with the protected person as well as providing any necessary emergency services, a system comparable to those installed in autos to assist motorists. Existing personal emergency systems only work in and just outside the home, while MobileHelp is the first to use a national cellular network providing coverage nationwide. In observance of MobileHelp’s launch, the company is offering free activation and a free month of service to anyone upgrading from a traditional system through year’s end.

“MobileHelp is driven by the caregiver’s needs as well as the protected person’s. They’re both part of the equation,” said Elias Janetis, the founder and CEO of Medical Mobile Monitoring of Boca Raton who was inspired to develop MobileHelp as his grandparents aged. Janetis recalled his concern knowing his grandmother was running errands away from home. “The caregiver or family is faced with constant worry about their loved ones. MobileHelp gives them peace of mind.”
